Privately owned financial planning licensee FYG Planners was proud to have the opportunity to take part in the recent Professional Planner | Financial Planning Association “Best Practice Forum”.
FYG Planners Managing Director Peter Mancell was part of the Dream Into Action forum with Anthony Warr, Director of Warr Hunt & Brett Ebedes, General Manager of Business Partnerships at IRESS.
The Dream Into Action forum was sponsored by IRESS and was tagged as “Successful financial planning firms share the ideas they have implemented that transformed their businesses and put them on a steep growth trajectory, and describe the process they followed to turn their ideas into actions and tangible results.”
During the forum Peter underlined FYG’s privately owned credentials as a financial planning licensee, putting the case that FYG was well ahead of the curve when it came to being a fee for service AFSL. He also underlined the importance of putting clients first in the financial planning process.
Highlighting FYG’s client first ethos, Peter explained that advisers at FYG Planners “expect no reward until we extract value for someone else”.
